To sign up as a producer (AGENT), you need to use the authorization code defined in the Agency Registration.

You will also need a credit card (if an Agency Credit Card wasn’t provided for all producers to use), your license number, and indicate the states you wish to quote in.

1. Go to http://www.ebix.com

2. Click on the new users section it looks like this

 

3. Scroll Down and Select Insurance Professional


4. Select Insurance Agent/Broker Sign Up

5. Accept the Agreement that pops up. This defines the charges for using ebix.mall.

6. Enter the agency authorization code. Click the NEXT Button.

7. On the next 6 screens, you will be prompted for name, address, credit card, etc.
You will also be prompted for the custom search engine.


Make your selections of types of business you like to write.

To Make Multiple Selections: Hold the Control Key (CTRL) down as you click on each line of business and/or industry.

8. Enter your license number(s). You will need to do this for each state you want to quote in.

9. You are successful when you see:


Congratulations, you have been successfully registered at EBIX Mall.
An email (along with the login details) is being sent to you for reference.

 

  1. WAIT you are not done yet....
    You need to fax a copy of each license(s) to 770-392-1119 before you can Submit a Quote on ebix.mall.

 


USING EBIX

YOU MUST LOG IN:

After you Login, you will see your name along with the # of quote requests.

Click the # Quote request Link to view requests (or you can go to Submit a Quote)



To customize "your ebix", click the My Ebix button in the top left-hand corner.
(this is how you get custom stock quotes, weather, etc.)
