The Toolkit

Implementation Guide

The Arias Toolkit is a windows based reference and education system.
Created originally in 1995 it has evolved through contributions into a vast collection of useful system hints and shortcuts for all ANeU Members.

It evolved once more into a new "web based" version and helped to create one of the most popular Intranet's offered to agents.

Distribution

Included sections for the
System Administrator, Operations, Producers and Client Service personnel.

Many Agents will appreciate that it now runs like an "intranet" in a browser, looks and feels like a web site, and is
completely editable by the agency.
To help you get started - There are blank "starter" sections for Agency Specific topics like "workflow",
"human resources", and "company events".

It may be run at the "desktop" level or on a network.

Updates

Everyone can help create the updates. In fact after initial distribution, the Toolkit will evolve through contributions from Arias members.
These new sections or enhancements will be downloadable to Members through the Arias Forum - On CompuServe
and our web site. If you have something to contribute click here.

Escrow Agreement

The security agreement between ARIAS and Ebix/REDSHAW that states; that in the unlikely event of company failure or demise, ARIAS and its members, own the software rights to both the Elite and Master systems. This value added benefit is automatic to those who are ARIAS members prior to August 1, 1995. This security agreement will also be automatic to new system users who opt to join ARIAS within six months of the installation of their system. This benefit will have to be purchased by those who were system users as of August 1, 1995 and were not members of Arias at that time.
It is common knowledge that your user group is attempting to continue negotiation on the Escrow Agreement at this time

· Put broad issues or requests before Ebix/Redshaw.
Those can come from individual Users, but preferably large groups and User Groups.

· Compliment ARIAS or Redshaw staff members for a job well done.

· Present a problem that you would like help in resolving, to offer a suggestion or idea,
to point to a suspected "bug" in the system, etc.

· That type is more specific and usually originated from individual users.
Your request will be assigned to an appropriate ARIAS Committee for a response.

If you are downloading, or want Real Time Billing Inquiry, and future XML tools- you need to register. 
Additionally If you would like to use EBIX please contact ANeU Headquarters.
If your agency is using Redshaw's FileSync, EBIXOne's and ASP's Billing Inquiry product now or contemplating using it in the future,
there's an ANeU service that you'll want to use ! Here's how it works:


Currently on FileSync
If your are currently on FileSync, send us the information on the FileSync Registration Form (see below) We Will Enter it into our new database.
When you go to add a new company, you can call or fax ARIAS Headquarters and we will provide you with the name and phone number of other agencies already interfacing (download) with that company. You can make arrangements with that agency to share tables, set ups, and other tips that make every company somewhat unique in the world of interface.

New To FileSync or EBIX ?
If you're new to FileSync or EBIX, call us or fax us with the names of the companies , states and plans you are interested in implementing.
Again we will put you in touch with an agency or agencies who might already have the information implemented that you need.
The service is free. So what do you have to lose ?
